Welcome to EVYR. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your vehicle data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the EVYR mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: We collect your email address and name to manage your account and provide cross-device synchronization.
• Vehicle Data: We collect the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), mileage, and service history you enter to provide tailored maintenance schedules.
• Photos & Documents: Images of service invoices or vehicle parts you upload are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure and are accessible only by you.
• Precise Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise location data to power the Shop Locator (identifying nearby repair centers) and to provide region-specific maintenance parameters (e.g., Cold Weather alerts).
• Connected Vehicle Services (Optional): If you choose to link a third-party vehicle account (e.g., Tesla), we collect telemetry data (battery level, odometer, firmware version) to populate the app. Login credentials are tokenized and proxied; we never store your raw password on the device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to:

• Provide VIN decoding services (identifying model, trim, and specifications).
• Generate maintenance schedules and tire recommendations tailored to your specific vehicle.
• Power the Shop Locator feature and calculate distances to service providers.
• Facilitate the Marketplace experience by showing parts compatible with your vehicle.
• Improve app performance via anonymous usage analytics.

3. Biometric Data

You may choose to use biometric authentication (Touch ID, Face ID, Fingerprint). This data is processed entirely locally on your device by the operating system. EVYR does not store, transmit, or have access to your biometric data.

4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, we use the following third-party services to provide App functionality:

• Infrastructure: Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase.
• Maps & Geocoding: Map features are powered by Google Maps and Apple Maps. Your location data is shared with these providers only to fulfill your map requests.
• Marketplace: EVYR is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click on a product link in our Marketplace, Amazon may use cookies or unique identifiers to track the referral for commission purposes. This activity is governed by Amazon’s Privacy Policy.
• Vehicle Manufacturers: If you link a vehicle account, data is exchanged with the manufacturer's API (e.g., Tesla Fleet API) to fulfill your requests.

5. Data Security

We enforce strict security protocols to ensure your privacy. Your service records and vehicle details are cryptographically segregated so that only you (the account owner) can access your personal data. Exports of your data (e.g., .evyr files) are secured with AES-256 encryption to ensure they remain private even when stored locally or transferred.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can edit or delete vehicle records at any time. You may also delete your entire account and all associated data permanently via the "Account Settings" menu in the app or by visiting our Account Deletion Portal. This action is immediate and removes all records from our servers.
