1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the EVYR app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Informational Purposes Only

The EVYR app provides tools for maintenance planning, tire selection, shop discovery, and diagnostic code lookup ("Services"). These Services are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional mechanical advice.

• Maintenance & Diagnostics: Schedules and alert code explanations are estimated based on available data. Always consult your vehicle's owner's manual or a certified technician.
• Marketplace & Tires: Recommendations are based on catalog data. You are solely responsible for verifying part compatibility, tire size, and load ratings before purchase.
• Shop Locator: The map identifies third-party service centers. EVYR does not endorse, vet, or guarantee the work of any shop listed. Any services performed by a shop found through the App are part of a private agreement between you and that shop.
• Connected Services: Data retrieved from vehicle manufacturer APIs (e.g., battery range, odometer) is provided "as-is". EVYR is not responsible for inaccuracies in the manufacturer's data feed.

EVYR is not liable for any damage, personal injury, voided warranties, or mechanical failures resulting from reliance on this information or services provided by third-party shops.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the App. You may delete your account at any time via the App or our Deletion Portal.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to reverse engineer the app, use the app for any illegal purpose, provide fraudulent vehicle information, or attempt to bypass our security measures.

5. Affiliate & Sponsored Content Disclosure

Affiliate: EVYR is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

Sponsored Shops: Certain repair shops may pay a fee to be "Sponsored" or highlighted in our Shop Locator. Such placement does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee of service quality.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVYR and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or your interactions with third-party retailers or service providers discovered via the App.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

8. Data Portability & Transfers

You may use the "Glovebox Export" or "Transfer Ownership" features to move your data.

• Exports: You are responsible for safeguarding your exported .evyr files and their decryption keys.
• Ownership Transfer: Completing a digital handshake to transfer a vehicle to another user creates a permanent transfer of data ownership. Once transferred, the data becomes the sole property of the recipient.
